I just launched my site. Where do I start?

Why is my new site not on Google yet?

Usually because Google has not been told about it. Letting search engines in and submitting your sitemap in Search Console fixes most cases. Then it takes a few days to a few weeks.

Do I need to install anything or give you access?

No. You only enter your web address. Nothing is installed and no passwords are needed.

How long does a check take?

Usually 10-30 seconds. Larger sites or slow hosting can take a little longer.

What does "Needs a look" mean?

Some things, like Search Console, can only be confirmed inside your own account. The guide shows you exactly where to look.

Are the setup guides really free?
